Damages & Returns
Rapidline Returns
Rapidline product returns are accepted provided by the following circumstances:
– The goods are damaged, wrongly supplied, defective or not in accordance with the product order.
– The goods are returned within one month of the date of invoice.
– The invoice number is provided with the goods return request.
All goods returned by the customer are subject to assessment by Furnx, and if permitted by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law, may be refused at the company’s sole discretion.
In the case of unwanted goods by the customer, the return and credit of these products will be at the discretion of Furnx. A restocking fee of 15% of the invoice value of the returned goods will apply, and the customer will bear the freight costs of the return.
If the return is approved, the goods will only be credited if they are returned in the original condition in which they were supplied, and remain in original boxes with all packaging and instruction material from an in-stock range.
Futile Deliveries
If a project/installation is refused at the point of delivery, a futile delivery/trip charge may be imposed at our discretion. The charge for a futile installation is $750.00 per day, and re-delivery will be completed on the attainment of a purchase order to that effect.
Title
Legal and beneficial ownership of the goods will not pass to the customer until such time as the goods have been paid for in full.
Inspection
All goods must be inspected and written notice must be supplied to Furnx within 2 days of receipt of damaged goods/or goods that do not comply with the relevant specifications or descriptions provided.
Cancellations
Cancellations of orders will only be accepted on in-stock ranges prior to the delivery date. No cancellations will be accepted on goods specially ordered.
Furnx may seek to pass on any associated freight or administration costs incurred before the cancellation.
Warranty
All goods supplied are covered by a commercial warranty.
Rapidline Product Warranties
All Rapidline products come with a warranty against defects.
Warranty periods differ between Rapidline products and can be found on individual product pages on the Rapidline website and Rapidline catalogue.
Product warranties cover faults in materials and workmanship on all Rapidline products and ranges. Normal wear and tear, and natural variations are not considered defects.
Should a warranty claim be accepted, our team will either repair, replace or swap parts to remedy the fault, free of charge.
All Rapidline warranties extend only to the original purchaser and are non-transferable.
The warranty applies from the date of delivery and does not apply where the product has been used other than for the purpose for which it was designed.
The warranty does not apply to damage caused by accident, neglect or misuse, or operation considered outside of the product’s intended use.
All repairs must be carried out by an authorised Furnx/ Rapidline representative.
Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase, full details of the defect, and any further documentation requested e.g. photographs.
If requested, the customer must make the product available for inspection by a Furnx/ Rapidline representative for evaluation.
