Damages & Returns

At Furnx, we understand that there may come a time when you need to return a purchase. To assist, we have set out our returns policy below.

Rapidline Returns
Rapidline product returns are accepted provided by the following circumstances:
– The goods are damaged, wrongly supplied, defective or not in accordance with the product order.
– The goods are returned within one month of the date of invoice.
– The invoice number is provided with the goods return request.
All goods returned by the customer are subject to assessment by Furnx, and if permitted by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law, may be refused at the company’s sole discretion.
In the case of unwanted goods by the customer, the return and credit of these products will be at the discretion of Furnx. A restocking fee of 15% of the invoice value of the returned goods will apply, and the customer will bear the freight costs of the return.
If the return is approved, the goods will only be credited if they are returned in the original condition in which they were supplied, and remain in original boxes with all packaging and instruction material from an in-stock range.

Futile Deliveries
If a project/installation is refused at the point of delivery, a futile delivery/trip charge may be imposed at our discretion. The charge for a futile installation is $750.00 per day, and re-delivery will be completed on the attainment of a purchase order to that effect.

Title
Legal and beneficial ownership of the goods will not pass to the customer until such time as the goods have been paid for in full.

Inspection
All goods must be inspected and written notice must be supplied to Furnx within 2 days of receipt of damaged goods/or goods that do not comply with the relevant specifications or descriptions provided.

Cancellations
Cancellations of orders will only be accepted on in-stock ranges prior to the delivery date. No cancellations will be accepted on goods specially ordered.
Furnx may seek to pass on any associated freight or administration costs incurred before the cancellation.

Warranty
All goods supplied are covered by a commercial warranty.

What Furnx Will Do

At its discretion, Furnx Pty Ltd will:

  • Repair the product
  • Replace the faulty component
  • Replace the product with the same or a comparable item

Warranty remedies cover parts or products only, not labour, unless installation was supplied by Furnx on the original order.

Warranty Claim Requirements

To assess a claim, resellers must provide:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Description of the fault
  • Photos and/or video evidence if requested

Claims cannot be assessed without sufficient information.

Delivery Location Guideline

All warranty replacements or parts are supplied only to the original delivery address recorded on the original order.

  • If a reseller delivers goods to a secondary location, Furnx remains responsible only for delivery to the original address.
  • Any onward delivery is the reseller’s responsibility.

Faulty Goods Collection

When a replacement product is supplied:

  • The faulty item must be made available for collection at the original delivery location
  • This must occur within 5 working days of replacement delivery

Failure to meet this requirement may result in the claim being declined or charged.

Parts-Only Warranty & Installation Responsibility

Unless Furnx supplied installation on the original order:

  • Warranty remedies are parts-only
  • Furnx does not cover fitting or reinstallation
  • The party who originally assembled or installed the product is responsible for fitting replacement parts

This applies to flat-pack products, self-assembly, and third-party installations.

Optional Labour Service

If Furnx did not originally install the product, labour can be provided at an additional cost if requested.

  • Labour pricing is quoted case-by-case
  • Availability is subject to location and scheduling

Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • High-wear items outside their stated warranty period
  • Misuse, abuse, or accidental damage
  • Unauthorised modifications or non-approved components
  • Customer-supplied or non-standard materials
  • Colour, grain, or finish variation
  • Rental or hire use

This warranty operates alongside rights under Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
