The Challenge

Providing a comprehensive logistics service and advising on a functional fit out solution for a workspace situated above a busy retail store. Introducing soundproof meeting rooms and quiet areas, as well as providing space efficient ready-made and custom ordered furniture to suit an open plan office environment.

With the assistance of the Furnx projects team, BFX provided a complete fit out solution for their customer’s open plan office. Providing a functional furniture selection with commercial warranties, space planning to maximise floor areas, quotation for on budget solutions, and on-time stress-free delivery and installation. 

As well as seamless end to end project execution, the Furnx projects team also worked closely with BFX to supply custom pieces, including special order timber finish B.Quiet Acoustic Pods, and matching timber finish storage solutions to introduce natural tones into the office environment and create contrast. 

Custom Solutions & Planning

Following the completion of BFX’s floorplan design and 3D render, the Project team assisted with a customised soft wiring plan for effective power solutions, as well as guidance on a comprehensive Shush30+ system for ultimate privacy and noise reduction. Special order and customisable finishes were also consulted on. 

Quotation

Based on the confirmed product list and furniture requirements provided by BFX, the Furnx projects team provided a complete product breakdown and quotation, including delivery and installation costs. Clear communication around lead times for express and customised products were enclosed, and installation dates were discussed in detail to ensure a seamless delivery process was carried out for the customer. 

Delivery & Installation

As soon as the customised furniture arrived, our expert installers confirmed the delivery date and worked diligently to bring the customer’s vision to life. Delivery, assembly and installation of all products were carried out, as well as rubbish removal and clean up for immediate back to business operations to commence. 

Handover

After completing the installation, our team met with the customer for a handover. A follow-up post-project check-in was conducted to discuss feedback and satisfaction.

Summary

The project installation for BFX and their satisfied customer was a complete success. Furnx worked closely with the BFX team to provide the support required and ensured prompt delivery and installation of the project. Throughout the entire project, clear communications were maintained to ensure a smooth and efficient process. 

I found working with the Furnx projects team that they were very responsive and easy to collaborate with, they worked hard to accommodate us and to work within the clients deadlines.
Working with the projects team and their installers was a very easy and pleasant experience; this wouldn’t be without the great knowledge and experience the projects team and installers had, and this played a large role to help provide our clients with such a successful outcome.
